Valerio Cozzi
Architect, landscape designer.
I am a landscape architect based between Milan and Malpensa, with over twenty years of experience in Italy and abroad. I provide comprehensive design, project management, and specialist consultancy services for public administrations, corporate and private clients, and leading architecture and engineering firms. I operate alongside a trusted, multidisciplinary network of collaborators and professionals.
Landscape design in Italy
Among the most recent completed projects are the major restoration of the Villa Monastero Botanical Garden in Varenna, funded by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) – Next Generation EU; a 2,000 m² roof garden in Milan’s Cascina Merlata district, a 99,000 m² public park in San Donato Milanese connecting to the Parco Agricolo Sud, and a private garden with a swimming pool—a small gem of sustainability and attention to detail, offering stunning views and privacy.
Riyadh e Saudi Vision 2030
Designers rarely settle into a comfort zone: pushing boundaries is a natural instinct. This is why I am deeply grateful to those who invited me to design a garden in Saudi Arabia in 2009. That foundational experience introduced me to an extraordinary land, a deeply-rooted culture, and truly inspiring people. Since then, I have been honored to collaborate with world-class professionals and develop landscape projects in Riyadh and beyond. This ongoing journey allows me to expand my knowledge of species that thrive in a demanding climate, contributing in my own small way to the realization of Saudi Vision 2030 for a greener Kingdom.
Public Engagement & Education
Driven by the conviction that landscape culture is a vital civic value to be shared, I complement my professional practice with a steadfast commitment to public outreach and education. To advance this vision, I regularly organize and speak at events, conferences, and technical courses designed to train the next generation of specialists. I also dedicate my expertise to advocate territorial development and preserve local identity through institutional service. I am privileged to serve as President of the Landscape Commission for Ballabio and member of the Regional Commission of Lombardy for the Landscape Heritage of Hills and Great Lakes.

Architect, Master from Politecnico di Milano in Landscape Design and Conservation. Following roles in spatial planning and sustainable development, she joined us in 2018. Today, she leads public sector projects and strategic landscape redevelopment initiatives.
Eugenio Braccio
Landscape designer
Architect, Master in Landscape Design from Politecnico di Milano. After working at LAND Italia and in Germany, he mastered BIM. Since 2016, he serves as a designer, project manager, and assistant construction manager for our projects in Italy and the Middle East.
Emma Casati
Landscape architect
Landscape Designer, MS from the University of Genoa, specialized in healing gardens. Since early 2026, she has brought fresh energy to our team, advancing our high-profile Middle Eastern developments and exclusive residential and hospitality projects in Italy.
Christian Sgrulletti
Draftsman
Surveyor driven by precision. Having joined our team in late 2025, he is actively expanding his professional expertise into landscape design while planning his academic future. He supports our projects with exceptional technical accuracy and deep commitment.
Leonardo Borsani
Draftsman
Junior Architect degree from Politecnico di Milano. He joined in 2025, participating in projects and competitions with his advanced CAD and 3D Rhino skills. He currently balances hands-on design work with his ongoing academic pursuits in Structural Engineering.
Marco Calautti
Construction management assistant
Architect, Master in Landscape Design from Politecnico di Milano. Since 2017, he balances collaborating with us with dynamic freelance work, supervising large-scale forest mitigation and environmental interventions for major infrastructure projects across Italy.
Erica Kusterle
Coordinator
With the team since 2008, she pairs a background in Economics and Philosophy with elite garden design certificates from Fondazione Minoprio and the RHS. She coordinates project progress, personnel and agenda to keep all studio operations on track.
